Your first visit begins with a welcome from our team. We will review your paperwork and insurance information before you spend time with Dr. Tostado.
He will listen to your concerns and evaluate tooth alignment, bite, and jaw development. Share any breathing, airway, or sleep concerns so they can be considered and further evaluation discussed when appropriate. His conservative, functional approach may lead to treatment, monitoring, or no treatment at this time.
What to bring.
- Your medical and dental history and current medication information.
- Your dental insurance card, if you have one.
- Any relevant dental records you have been asked to provide.
- Your questions about treatment, daily care, timing, and fees.
Ask our team about paperwork before your visit. If you have not completed it in advance, we can provide forms at the office.
If you decide to begin treatment.
Diagnostic records may include photographs, digital scans, and X-rays selected for your care. The practice uses digital scanning and 3D models to support treatment planning.
Records may be taken at the first visit or a separate appointment. We will explain any records fees, treatment costs, and payment arrangements before you proceed.
A plan you understand.
Dr. Tostado will explain the options that suit your case and answer your questions. Your recommendation considers your oral health, bite, goals, and preferences.
